Turkish engineers made a BMW car transforms into a giant robot


Science fiction movies that bring interesting technology thoughts in their plots are inspiring ambitious engineers to turn those thoughts into reality. Let me ask you a question, what would inspire you to gather with a group of engineers to build, or let’s say to transform a vehicle into a giant robot? One of Your answers may be: Transformers science fiction action movie starring Sam Witwicky



Well, let me get you into this post main point, as the picture shows above, that’s a BMW red car that transforms into a robot with arms and legs in a transformation process that last for a few seconds. The robot name is Letron; it has been developed by Turkish engineers from Letvison Company. Unfortunately, the robot can’t fly, but what if it had the ability to do so? As you see in the picture there is a head appears in the top of the transformed BMW car, the head is able to turn 120 degree thanks to 200 Ncm Ds servo. The robot holds one of the best powerful engines that allow a very high performance. Concerning its remote control, it is managed by smart software allows voice interaction.
It is noteworthy to mention that the robot is not drivable yet, but the company engineers assert that adding an electric engine to the robot would make this possible.
